A new accommodation offer in the Sauerland region offers relaxation particularly close to nature. In Kirchhundem, holidaymakers can from now on stay overnight in newly built treehouses. They belong to the “Zu den Linden” guesthouse, which is itself housed in a historic 18th-century half-timbered building. Both of the two-storey treehouses, which offer around 50 square meters in space, are each built into a treetop and are made almost entirely of wood. The beds, chairs, table and entire inner furnishings have been tailor-made for the treehouses by a local carpenter using material taken mainly from local forests.
Visitors can also stay overnight in treehouses in the Panarbora nature adventure park in the Bergisches Land region. Click here for this and other unusual accommodation options.
